Travelling Exhibitions
 
 The Poetics of West Coast Modernism in West Vancouver is an exhibition on architecture and has been hosted by venues across Canada. 
 
Curated and first exhibited in 2005, this collection of images, prose and text represents some of the finest West Coast designs by many of Canada's best-known architects.  The prose is by renown architect Barry Downs, with consultation on the project by Barry Downs and Brian Hemingway.
 
The exhibition features 18 photographic panels, 30 x 30", framed.  Accompanying these are mounted text panels and smaller detail panels, 15 x 15". There is also a DVD of the exhibition and a publication available for sale at $20 each.  Over 1200 copies of the catalogue have been sold to date.
 
The exhibition has been showcased at the following venues:
 
West Vancouver:  The Ferry Building Gallery, Silk Purse Gallery, Gallery at the Library
Vancouver:           Architectural Institute of British Columbia
Victoria:               Maltwood Gallery, University of Victoria
Toronto:               Carleton University
Montreal:             McGill University
Ottawa:               Cambridge Galleries, University of Waterloo
Edmonton:           The Works Art & Design Festival
 
The exhibition is available for loan and it is free of charge to host. It comes with all promotional materials, DVD, catalogues, press kits,  and banners.
 
The only cost will be to transport it to and from your venue.
