ART GALLERY VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers in the arts make the difference and have a terrific time!  If you love Art or would like to learn more about it, here is an excellent way to meet the local artists, learn about their work, visit with and educate the public.  We are looking for volunteers for gallery shifts, evening programs, clerical work and Class 4 bus drivers for Art Tours.  If you would be interested in finding out more about this interesting, educational and fun opportunity please call Mary Harrington, Gallery Assistant at (604-925-7290).

Friends of the Gallery are committed to supporting and promoting the growth of the Ferry Building Gallery, and to building an enjowment to ensure the longevity of the Gallery.  For information on Sponsorship, Donations, and Special Events, please call 604-925-7290.

 Volunteers are the foundation of the successful operation of the Ferry Building Gallery.  Roles for volunteers provide a variety of opportunities, depending on the experience, skills, and preferences of the individual. 

The Ferry Building Gallery operates under The Office of Cultural Affairs and Corporate Partnerships, District of West Vancouver.

Opportunities include: 

• gallery docent
• reception committee
• special events
• clerical assistance
• class 4 bus driver
• installation team

You may wish to make a cash donation to assist the gallery to maintain it’s standards of excellence, and to support us in producing informative and educational exhibitions and programs to serve you.

We accept cash or cheque donations, and we will issue you a receipt for income tax purposes for any amount of $25.00 or more.
