MURAL UNVEILING: I WAS A TEENAGE SKATEBOARDER IN THE ‘90s

Peter Sullivan Skatepark, Ambleside Park

Sunday, June 2  |  1–3 p.m. (weather permitting). *Please note this date has been changed from April 21.

The Ferry Building Gallery, in collaboration with the District of West Vancouver and the Capture Photography Festival, is pleased to present a photo-based mural titled I Was a Teenage Skateboarder in the '90s that showcases the skateboarding scene of the '90s. The mural features photography by Jody Morris, Ed Templeton, Scott Serfas and Peter Sullivan and was curated by Ben Stoddard and will be on display for the next two years.

After the unveiling, bust out your cameras for the drop-in skateboarding photography demo and workshop. Pro skaters show off their tricks, and you capture them on film or digital, under the guidance of seasoned documentary photographers. All ages welcome!
